MAISON 826 is the latest project by the avant-garde hairdresser Pedro Remy. This new space, which was born in Braga - Portugal, was designed by the architect Nuno Capa. Here, the hairdresser co-inhabits with the arts - through live music (Jazz) or the art gallery present in the space - and with Design, through the author's boutique - OGQMOCA - by Joana Coelho. All the branding and communication of this project were developed by me. 

The photos presented here were taken by the prestigious Portuguese photographer - João Morgado.

Embracing the challenge of developing a unique identity for such a multidisciplinary space, with a strong artistic and cultural spirit, without forgetting its main function. This identity was born from the conceptual approach to the key theme, through the geometric shapes that form the space and its dynamics.

The number 826 born from the logo itself and its explored creatively and uniquely, to give to this branding and overall dynamic concept to play around while employing it throughout the brand communication, transmitting an aesthetic sense of coherence and visual richness to the brand.

Live at Maison's communication have unique visual elements, dynamics and colors. The geometrical shapes are a result of the logo deconstruction and they are the base of the live events design language. Regarding that, I've played around with these shapes while incorporate movement and sound references to them. The bright neon orange color complements the overall look and feel communication, making it strong, powerful, and highly recognizable.
