Client: Antoine Brown
Project Type: Brand Slide Deck / Presentation Design
Overview
Rooted and Secure is a project focused on supporting Black women who are seeking psychological help, emotional safety, and a sense of confidence. The goal of the slide deck was to communicate trust, warmth, and empowerment while addressing sensitive mental health topics with care and respect.
The Challenge
The client needed a presentation that could:
Speak directly to Black women in a safe and affirming way
Feel emotionally supportive without being overwhelming
Balance professionalism with softness and humanity
Build trust around mental health and psychological support
The Solution
I designed a slide deck that feels calm, grounded, and emotionally safe. The visual language focused on clarity and reassurance, using thoughtful typography, spacing, and tone to create a sense of stability and trust.
Key design choices included:
A warm, grounded color palette to evoke safety and comfort
Clean, minimal layouts to reduce visual noise
Strong hierarchy to guide the viewer gently through the content
Language and visuals that center confidence, care, and empowerment
Outcome
The final deck provided Antoine with a clear, emotionally resonant tool to communicate the mission of Rooted and Secure. The presentation supports meaningful conversations around mental health while helping the audience feel seen, safe, and supported.
