Streamlined Email Management System

Context

As a Senior Analyst in my day job, I work with several enterprise clients, and sometimes each client has several separate teams in their organization reaching out to us. Apart from that, we might receive (sometimes daily) data reports from the software we work with, as well as incident reports. As such, without a well established email management system, it would be impossible to keep up.

Solution

I set up several email filters and folders to segregate the emails coming from separate clients. The ones I really need to check are left as unread, and the ones I only need to consult if something specific shows up are automatically set as read. Today, in my inbox, I mostly have urgent emails and internal emails. This way, it's super easy to see which emails I need to read (or not), and I can respond quickly to high-importance emails.
