e-mobi is one of Latvia's EV charging networks, with stations across the country. It offers a web portal and a companion mobile app where drivers find stations on a map, see their availability, filter by connector type and pay for charging.
MY ROLE:
UX/UI DESIGN
I designed the interface of the e-mobi web portal and mobile app, from the station map to the charging and payment flows, and handed the designs over to the development team.
Web portal: designed landing layouts with transparent pricing, support guides, the station map and quick profile management.
Mobile app: designed the core flows, including station search filters, live charging session monitor, payment method selection and driver profile settings.
Focused on readability, quick access and clear status alerts (active, available, occupied chargers), so drivers can use it safely and conveniently.
THE CHALLENGE
Show an interactive nationwide map with live status indicators for different connector types (CCS, Type 2, CHAdeMO) and power outputs.
Let drivers find a station, start and stop a charging session, manage their account and pay with as few taps as possible, often on the go.
Keep one consistent look across web and mobile, using a clean green and white palette.
RESULTS
Delivered a modern, scalable design system for EV charging infrastructure in Latvia, connecting web and mobile in one consistent experience.
