Splice is a platform that helps music producers be more creative. Various tools from samples, plugins, VSTs are available at their fingertips. I joined the company in the early days and help build key products for the platform

What is the typical day of a music producer? What are the common obstacles they face when producing music? Can we identify common patterns?

We learned from research that one of the key goals as a musician was to be able to access their tool quickly without being too distracted. This led to the creation of a full-fletched desktop app where they can access their music projects, favorite samples and plugins.

In the run of 3 years, I designed various parts of the products from landing pages, product pages, to new innovative features such as the ability to import your own samples. These products required relentless attention to design and details.

When I left, the company was already a worldwide leader in the market of music production with lots of other exciting opportunities coming ahead.
