Overview
This project delivers a unified digital platform that helps churches track, manage, and understand member and pastor activities at scale across teaching, service participation, attendance, first-timers, evangelism, assignments, and member history.
The product is being built with Lovable for fast, high-quality UI/UX execution, and powered by Supabase for a secure, scalable backend. The platform includes a dedicated Admin side for Cell Leaders, Pastors, and Church Admins to oversee activity reporting, accuracy, and growth insights.
Problem / Need
Church activity tracking is often fragmented across paper registers, spreadsheets, WhatsApp updates, and multiple tools. This leads to:
Incomplete attendance visibility (especially across special services and cell meetings)
Poor tracking of first-timers and follow-up workflows
Inconsistent documentation of evangelism efforts and outcomes
Assignment submissions and learning participation being hard to measure
Limited historical data to support pastoral care and growth decisions
Goals
Create a single source of truth for church activity records across all departments and groups
Make reporting fast and consistent for members, cell leaders, and pastors
Enable scalable tracking across services, cells, and events without admin overload
Preserve historical records for discipleship, pastoral care, and growth analytics
Provide actionable oversight dashboards for leaders
Technology & Implementation
Frontend / App Build: Lovable
Rapid UI iteration, clean workflows, responsive interfaces
Member and admin experiences built as separate role-based flows
Backend: Supabase
Postgres database for structured activity records
Auth for secure login and role assignment (member vs admin roles)
Row Level Security (RLS) to enforce access boundaries (cell-level visibility)
Storage (optional) for attachments like teaching notes/resources
Edge Functions (optional) for automation like reminders, follow-up prompts, or scheduled reports
