Math App Redesign for Kids

Overview 🔎

I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project as a UX/UI designer - the Mental Math App. The client, a software developer and project owner, wanted to create a visually appealing and engaging math learning app for kids. We faced the challenge of stiff competition in the market, but we overcame it by conducting market research, adding unique features and branding. The result was a highly functional and visually appealing Math App that exceeded our client's expectations. I'm thrilled to add this project to my portfolio and look forward to taking on similar challenges in the future.







Project Details 🤝

The project involved collaborating with a software developer to redesign the entire app, which included around 35 frames. The goal was to make the Math App more visually appealing to children. Challenges faced included stiff competition in the Math App market which were overcome through market research, differentiation of features and marketing through social media channels.



Results ✨

The final outcome of the project was successful in attracting and retaining its target audience of kids who found it more engaging than previous versions of the product. The new design justified its subscription price by appearing more premium than before leading to higher levels of adoption.
