The Frosted Fox Cake Shop
is a speciality bakery and wedding cake designer. For my project, I researched the business and did a rebrand of their logo based on their existing brand identity and values.
The Frosted Fox Cake Shop believes cakes should look beautiful and taste delicious. We are an artisan, scratch-bakery with a focus on custom cakes and cookies for weddings and special occasions. We make baked goods daily in our Mt. Airy shop for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth.
For the logo, I wanted to create something sweet and elegant, but playful and cute. With the brand's name, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to combine a fox's swirly tail with the swirl of icing (like icing on a cake).
For the color palette, I wanted to fully embrace their identity around cakes and bakery goods, so I utilized pastel colors akin to frosting. They are complemented and balanced out by darker colors such as dark chocolate and ganache, and tangy warm colors such as tangerine, salted caramel, and sweet pumpkin. All of the colors are named after flavors, enticing one's sweet tooth craving.
