Outline Phase: During this phase, the solar design team will identify and outline the desired roof faces for panel placement. Multiple roof faces or design areas (polygons) can be selected, allowing for comprehensive and flexible project proposals. This approach enables the sales team to present more extensive and potentially higher-value projects to homeowners.

Edge Designation

Edge Designation Phase: During this phase, the solar design team will identify one edge of the polygon, and the system will automatically detect the remaining edges. If the system's detection is incorrect, the design team can manually adjust the edge type as needed.

Roof Attributes/Panel Placement

Roof Attributes/Panel Placement Phase: During the roof attributes phase, the design team will select the polygon they wish to work with. Once a polygon is selected, the user will enter the panel placement phase, where they can either automatically place panels or manually position them within the chosen polygon.

Panel Activation

Panel Activation Phase: During the panel activation phase, the design team will select which panels to activate or deactivate. This selection will directly impact the final pricing when creating a proposal, allowing for precise and customized cost estimates for the homeowner.
