Overview:
Trappi, a science-based mosquito-trapping company, was looking for a logo adjustment to their original logo design to meet brand compliance standards in China, but was interested in exploring new concepts for their current brand. Their goal was to build a company around the launch of their innovative product.
With a bold and outgoing founder leading the project, I developed a logotype that was inspired from the Indiana Jones style logo design, creating a dynamic logotype with visual wordplay (the 'T' as an elongated tube stopper, the 'i' as a test tube) while showcasing clearly to early adopters the unique value proposition of the product - using simulated-chemical reactions to attract mosquitos and trap them.
