Poster Design for an event organized by an association.

An association commissioned me to create the new poster for their annual festival.

I had some guidelines on what needed to be communicated on the main poster, and I had previous years posters as examples :

My goal was to communicate as much information as previous years but in a much more spacious and readable poster.

I drew inspiration from paint stroke visuals, like this :

So I created some visuals for the background of the poster :

With Photoshop, I created these visuals in a drawn style to stand out against the paint, with the black color echoing the font color.

This is the first proposition I send to my client.

I used a diagonal pattern to guide the eye to important information and balance the layout. For the font size, I tried to utilize the golden ratio to again balance the poster.

I had to design a second poster with the same identity and also flyers.

The client asked me to change the car for a tractor, and change the white color to another matching color. And to modify some informations.

They asked me to design the flyers in a 21x29.7 cm format.

The most challenging request was to incorporate images of the show without compromising the design. This proved rather difficult as the provided images were not of high enough quality to be edited in the same style as the car and tractor. However, at the client's request, these images were included in the final result.
