Accounting Services White Paper Design

Executive Summary
Makosi approached me to rebuild the visual systems behind their Audit Transformation content, a space crowded with dense information, rigid workflows, and teams drowning in process blind spots. My role was to transform complex operational theory into clean, high-impact communication that decision-makers could absorb in seconds. The result is a fully restructured editorial system, built with product-level discipline, designed to scale across reports, decks, and client-facing material.
Challenge
Audit firms live in spreadsheets, SOPs, and legalese. Their existing material looked the part. Content was fragmented, visuals were inconsistent, and nothing supported the strategic story they were trying to tell. They needed a design system that could bring clarity to complexity without losing credibility. This required more than “pretty slides.” It needed information architecture, hierarchy planning, and UX thinking applied to long-form content.
Approach
I treated the project like a product. That means building a layout engine rather than decorating pages. I created a modular grid, repeatable components, visual checkpoints, and colour cues that guide the reader through data, decision points, and outcomes. Typography carries weight and rhythm. Diagrams were rebuilt with a modern audit-tech aesthetic. Photography and tone were calibrated for trust, not stock-image cheerfulness.
Every page was designed to function as a standalone asset, a chapter in a larger system, and a tool for consultants to communicate more effectively.

I helped create a new template for Makosi's EBP Audit Transformation Formula as an editorial designer producing this White Paper, by applying their updated CI.
