Dual WhatsApp Management App Design

Managing two WhatsApp accounts on one device is a common need especially for professionals, freelancers, and small business owners but the experience across existing tools is clunky, confusing, and visually outdated. On top of that, saving statuses and managing group chats had no elegant solution in one place.

Design a clean, modern mobile app that brings dual account management, status saving, group chat tools, and support into a single unified experience. The UI needed to feel lightweight and trustworthy something users would open daily without friction.

As the UI/UX Designer, I handled the full design process from understanding user needs and structuring the app's flows to designing every screen across the product. This included onboarding, language selection, home dashboard, WhatsDeleted, Saved Status (images and videos), Group Chat, Status Saver, FAQ, Feedback, and the premium Unlock Unlimited Access paywall.

Dual App pushed me to think carefully about utility-first UX every screen needed to get users to their goal in as few taps as possible. Key learnings:

Onboarding for utility apps must explain value immediately users won't explore to figure it out

Status saver and WhatsDeleted screens required careful empty-state design for when no content exists yet

The paywall needed to feel like a natural step, not a hard wall achieved through a 7-day free trial framing

Future iterations would benefit from personalisation surfacing the features each user actually uses most
