Solvex International - Buying House Website

Overview

Solvex International Ltd. is a buying house in Dhaka that sits between global fashion brands and Bangladeshi factories, handling sourcing, product development and quality assurance. Their buyers are overseas and rarely visit before making contact, so the website is often the only thing a brand sees before deciding whether to start a conversation. It had to establish credibility on its own.

What I built

A focused marketing site: home, about, what we do, and contact. Rather than listing services as bullet points, each section explains how the buying house actually works, from first sample through to shipment, because that process is what a brand is really evaluating. Sustainability and compliance are given their own space instead of being a footnote, since that is now the first question most European buyers ask.

Multilingual

The site serves buyers across several markets, so it is built to run in more than one language with the structure and routing handled properly rather than through a browser translate widget. The content model carries each language, so nothing breaks or falls back to English mid-page.

The build

Next.js 15 with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS v4, statically exported. The export was a deliberate choice: the client already had cPanel shared hosting and wanted to keep it. A static build drops straight into that hosting as plain files, so there is no Node process to keep alive, no extra hosting bill, and nothing that can fall over at three in the morning.

Details that mattered

Buyers open these sites from a phone between meetings, so the layout is responsive throughout and the contact route is never more than one tap away. Page titles, meta descriptions and Open Graph tags are set per page, so a link shared in an email or on LinkedIn previews properly instead of showing a bare URL.

Handover

Deployed to the client's own hosting, with the documented source code handed over.
