Petal Pop is a conceptual wine designed for a new generation of wine drinkers who value experience as much as the product itself. Rather than treating the label as decoration, I explored how floral storytelling could shape the entire brand—from the bottle silhouette to the finishing details.
The Challenge
Floral products often fall into one of two extremes: overly delicate or overwhelmingly decorative.
The goal was to create a wine collection that felt feminine without becoming cliché, premium without feeling exclusive, and expressive enough to stand apart in a category often dominated by traditional wine aesthetics.
Petal Pop Label Concepts
More Than a Label
Most packaging concepts stop at the graphics.
For Petal Pop, I wanted the bottle itself to become part of the identity.
Using Blender, I designed a custom bottle form that echoes the elegance and movement of flowers. The goal wasn't simply to create a unique silhouette, but to transform the packaging into a recognisable brand asset before a customer even reads the label.
Petal Pop Bottle Design
1. Sparkling Wine - Hibiscus
Bold • Vibrant • Celebratory
Inspired by the energy of blooming hibiscus flowers, this sparkling wine embraces saturated coral tones, layered petal forms, and iridescent details that catch the light from every angle.
Designed for celebrations, gifting, and moments that deserve attention.

2. Champagne - Lavender
Calm • Elegant • Refined
Lavender introduces a quieter side of the collection.
Soft violet hues, restrained detailing, and a more delicate composition create a sense of relaxation while maintaining the premium character of the brand.

3. Rosé - Rose
Romantic • Soft • Expressive
Peony explores a warmer, more emotional palette.
Blush pink tones and flowing floral forms create a bottle that feels equally at home as a gift, centrepiece, or keepsake.

Designing for Shelf Impact
A successful beverage packaging has seconds to make an impression.
To help Petal Pop stand apart, the visual identity combines:
Bespoke bottle forms
Bold floral illustration
Embossed textures
Iridescent foil accents
Vibrant, flavour-led colour systems
Together, these elements create a collection that feels modern, memorable, and instantly recognisable from a distance.

Bringing the Concept to Life
The project also became an opportunity to create my first fully self-directed 3D visualisation project. While most of my experience had been in 2D design, I wanted to explore what it felt like to have complete creative control over form, materials, lighting, and finishes in a digital environment.
Building Petal Pop allowed me to experiment with custom bottle shapes, realistic materials, and product photography-style rendering techniques, helping me understand how packaging could be visualised long before production.
Petal Pop was also featured in the Graphika Manila Art Book 2025, marking my first published work in the official art book of Asia's premier creativity conference. This milestone encouraged me to continue exploring the intersection of packaging and 3D design.
