The Art of Reason project was initiated from scratch, with phases carefully planned to include client consultations, design iterations, and a comprehensive development phase. The team, consisting of 3-4 members at various stages, worked collaboratively to ensure that the platform met the client’s vision and user expectations.

Key Challenges and Solutions
Target Audience Trust
Challenge: Research indicated a distrust toward web3 technologies among the target demographic, primarily due to lack of familiarity.
Solution: A seamless and transparent integration of blockchain, where users are introduced to its functionalities without direct interaction. The automatic creation of custodial wallets during user registration ensured a simplified experience.
Commission Complexity
Challenge: Ensuring accurate commissions for creators, galleries, and other stakeholders based on variable resale conditions.
Solution: A backend-driven commission management system was implemented to handle variability and ensure accurate transaction tracking without interfering with smart contracts.
Token Transactions and Authorization
Challenge: Avoiding explicit blockchain interactions for users while ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
Solution: Utilizing an admin-wallet for transaction management, enabling cost-effective and secure token transfers while blocking external resale transactions.
User Experience and Scalability
Challenge: Designing a visually appealing yet intuitive interface that caters to both novice and tech-savvy users.
Solution: Responsive design, optimized for mobile and desktop, coupled with SEO enhancements to maximize reach and usability.

Role and Contributions
As a Frontend Developer, I played a pivotal role in shaping the platform's core functionalities, ensuring optimal performance, and delivering an engaging user experience. My responsibilities included:
Core Application Development: Implementing robust, scalable features that form the backbone of the application’s functionality.
Performance Optimisations: Streamlining code and processes to enhance application speed and responsiveness.
Payments system design: Used my knowledge of Stripe systems I designed the fee flow and used connected accounts system to enable all artists, galleries and other beneficiaries to have their commissions paid out safely and efficiently.
SEO Enhancements: Integrating best practices to improve search engine visibility, ensuring the platform reaches a global audience.
Mobile Optimisation: Ensuring seamless performance across devices, providing users with an intuitive and visually appealing experience regardless of screen size.
