As the Frontend Developer for the CyclingHero project, I play a pivotal role in the development, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement of the CyclingHero Companion App and the website. My work focuses on ensuring a smooth, intuitive user experience for cyclists, from the moment they book their trip to the final leg of their adventure.

Key responsibilities include:

Core App Development: I am responsible for building and maintaining the core functionalities of the CyclingHero website and admin environment.

Performance Optimisation: Performance is crucial, especially for an app that relies heavily on real-time navigation and user input. I focus on optimising load times and responsiveness

Ongoing Maintenance and Enhancements: The platform is constantly evolving to meet user needs and enhance the user experience. I am dedicated to ensuring that updates and new features are seamlessly integrated, bug-free, and continuously improving.

User-Centered Design: A major aspect of my role involves collaborating with designers and the product team to ensure the app is both aesthetically appealing and easy to navigate. The aim is to provide users with a smooth journey—both digitally and physically—by creating an interface that feels natural and intuitive.

Collaboration with Backend devs: I work closely with the back-end developers to ensure smooth data flow and integration between the app and the server, as well as with the mobile team to optimise the app’s performance across different devices and screen sizes.

Through this comprehensive development approach, I ensure that every cyclist’s experience on CyclingHero’s platform is seamless, efficient, and enjoyable. My work directly impacts how users engage with the brand, helping to solve the challenge of providing a reliable, efficient, and enjoyable experience for cyclists throughout their Italian adventure.
