Overview Sewa Skincare celebrates Africa’s long-standing tradition of using indigenous raw materials to create effective, natural skincare. Their mission is to uncover skin-healing treasures from African countries and tribes, and share the excellence, intelligence, and heritage behind them.
Challenge Sewa needed a visual identity and label system that felt simple, warm, and culturally grounded—something that instantly connected their audience to the authenticity and purity of African skincare wisdom.
Solution I designed a minimalist brand system built around natural textures, gentle color palettes, and clean typographic structure. The labels highlight ingredients and origin stories while maintaining clarity and shelf appeal. Supporting brand elements—icons, patterns, and layout rules—reinforce the sense of heritage, purity, and trust.
Impact The refreshed identity helped Sewa present its products with a stronger sense of purpose, cultural connection, and quality. The simple, cohesive system allows the brand to scale across product ranges while keeping its African roots visible and emotionally resonant.
