Overview: Polaris Bank is a large financial service provider in WEST AFRICA and Central Africa with headquarters in Nigeria. For a while now, the bank’s mobile app has come under heavy criticism with users giving it a 2.5 rating out of 5 on the google play store.
Problem: The Polaris Bank app has the potential and market to onboard and retain more users based on its value innovations, but signup and user retention rates were drastically low. Users were leaving as soon as they were coming, complaining excessively about its complexity, outdated look and overall inconvenience.
Goal: the core objective of this project is to redesign the existing application;
-to make it modern and user friendly
-to enhance the user experience based on research and analysis
making onboarding easier and simplifying other banking process for both new and existing customers
