JobFairy — Career Fair Planning Web App

Many job seekers attend career fairs without a clear plan. They often do not know which companies to visit first, what questions to ask recruiters, how to organize their time during the event, or how to follow up after important conversations.

I designed the end-to-end JobFairy experience, from defining the user journey to delivering the final interface:

Mapped the career-fair journey — identified the key stages users need support with: discovering events, preparing, planning company visits, and following up with recruiters.

Defined the product structure — organized the experience into a clear information architecture covering Events, Companies, My Plan, Career Profile, Preparation, and Follow-ups.

Designed the personalized experience — created an onboarding flow that captures users’ goals, skills, experience, and preferences to personalize their dashboard and company recommendations.

Designed the core experience — created the Dashboard, Career Events, Company Directory, Company Details, My Plan, Career Profile, Questions, and Follow-up screens with consistent navigation and a cohesive design system.

Built a prioritization system — introduced company match scores, booth numbers, priorities, and event-planning tools to help users quickly identify where to focus their time.

Created a cohesive design system — established reusable components, typography, spacing, cards, buttons, and interaction patterns to maintain consistency across the product.

Personalized onboarding — captured users’ goals, target roles, skills, and preferences to create a relevant experience from the start.

Match-based recommendations — introduced match scores to help users quickly identify and prioritize the companies most relevant to them.

Centralized event planning — designed My Plan to bring companies, priorities, booth numbers, and visit schedules into one organized view.
