Project Overview

LC is a self-initiated luxury handbag brand concept created to explore the relationship between refined product design, visual identity, craftsmanship, and editorial fashion storytelling.
The goal was to develop more than a handbag mockup. I wanted to create a complete and commercially believable luxury experience—from the signature bag silhouette and LC monogram to color variations, interior organization, campaign imagery, and premium packaging.
The final concept combines structured proportions, rich leather textures, understated gold hardware, and a warm neutral visual system under the brand direction:

Project Challenge

Luxury handbags need to communicate value before the customer physically touches the product.
The challenge was creating a bag with a clear visual identity while avoiding excessive decoration, trend-driven details, or a design that felt too similar to established fashion houses.
The concept needed to:

Establish an original LC identity
Maintain a timeless structured silhouette

Balance elegance with everyday functionality

Brand Concept

LC was developed around the idea of quiet confidence and timeless personal style.
The initials were transformed into a refined gold monogram that functions as both the primary brand symbol and the central bag closure.
Rather than using oversized branding across the entire product, the identity appears through carefully controlled details:
The gold LC front clasp
A small embossed side mark
A branded leather tag

This restrained approach allows the material, silhouette, and construction to remain the main focus.

Design Direction

The visual direction combines modern architectural structure with warm, timeless luxury.

The ivory version offers a lighter and more minimal interpretation of the design.

Deep Burgundy

The burgundy variation adds richness and personality to the collection.
Its warm red undertones create a distinctive alternative without moving away from the restrained luxury direction.

Classic Black

The black version provides the most versatile and formal color option.
Gold hardware creates strong contrast, allowing the LC monogram to remain clearly visible.
Each colorway uses the same construction, proportions, hardware, and branding system, creating one consistent product family.

Natural Hero Campaign

The first campaign image places the chocolate-brown handbag on a sculptural stone surface beside an old tree.
Warm sunlight, textured limestone, olive leaves, and natural shadows create a quiet Mediterranean atmosphere.

Blue Editorial Campaign

A second campaign direction uses monochromatic blue fashion styling with selective natural color.

This contrast immediately draws attention toward the product and gives the campaign a more artistic, contemporary identity.
