Le Pain Parfait is a fictional bakery based in a small provincial village in France. Étienne the founder of Le Pain Parfait has perfected the art in bread making and because of this it has become known as the heart of the village! This bakery is to passed down by generations in the family.

I wanted the brand to show the family business, friendly and playful style. Using illustrations and hand drawn typefaces to show the personable and welcoming look and feel to the bakery. The use of hand illustrations is to show the process of bread making and the freshly baked goods it brings to the bakery.

When choosing colours you need to make the brand stand out but also relate it to the type of business it is. I wanted this to be a bold brand so I incorporated the blue like in the French flag but also using an orange which almost links to colour of baked goods. This will make Le Pain Parfait stand out from its competitors!
