Immersive Audio Design for Le Walk

Le Walk is a location-aware mobile application that blends storytelling, sound design, and artificial intelligence to offer a uniquely immersive way to explore cities on foot. As a Sound Designer and Music Curator for Le Walk, I have had the privilege of shaping the auditory landscape of this innovative mobile application developed by Routes AI. Launched in Paris in December 2024, Le Walk offers immersive, interactive audio experiences that guide users through the city's hidden gems and storied locales, all at their own pace. By collaborating with local experts and storytellers, the app transforms ordinary walks into rich, narrative-driven journeys, allowing users to uncover the secrets of neighborhoods like the Marais or the scandalous history of Pigalle

In my role, I have undertaken a variety of tasks to enhance the user experience:

Sound Design: Crafting and integrating ambient sounds and effects to complement the narrative and environment of each tour.

Music Curation: Selecting and synchronizing music tracks that align with the mood and theme of each experience, ensuring a cohesive auditory journey.

Audio Editing: Collaborating with narrators and editors to ensure high-quality, seamless audio transitions and clarity throughout the tours.

User Experience Optimization: Testing and refining audio elements based on user feedback to continually improve engagement and immersion.
