Bonobo Club Visual Identity

Bonobo Club is a place of captivating contrasts: a tranquil morning coffee sanctuary and a vibrant late-night playground. Their jungle-inspired decor and the dramatic shift in atmosphere created a truly unique experience. My challenge was to capture this duality in a visual identity – one that resonated with both the quiet murmur of morning conversations and the electric energy of the night. The logo itself became a symbol of this duality, juxtaposing the clean lines of a minimal sans-serif font with the playful spontaneity of a freehand monkey symbol.

This duality extends to Bonobo's supporting visuals, where two distinct styles intertwine. Geometric, badge-like shapes lend structure to details like dates, times, and specific attributes, providing a clean, modern counterpoint to the organic, freeform shapes inspired by lush foliage and the playful curves of the monkey symbol. These contrasting elements harmonize to create a cohesive visual language that reflects the venue's vibrant and multifaceted character.
