Problem

Three Rivers Community Care (3RCC) is a Pittsburgh-based therapy center for adults with disabilities in Pittsburgh. The existing website, built with Webflow, has not been updated since October 2021 because the business owner was not familiar with the tool, nor did they have the time to learn it given their tight schedule. With in-depth research, I learned that what 3RCC needed is a rebrand that aligns with the company mission, as well as a website that supports business use cases and is sustainable.
As the design consultant, I took on this challenge with two developers, aiming to increase the number of clients and strengthen the online presence of Three Rivers Community Care.

Process / Solution

Because I was both the project manager and design consultant, my responsibilities fell within two areas: 1) overseeing the entire project to ensure its successful completion and client satisfaction through timeline mapping and sprint planning and 2) delivering design materials such as brand guides and wireframes for development.
Throughout this 10-week project, we held weekly consultation sessions with the client to go over the project's progress, get feedback, and train the client on specific web development tasks.
At the end of the project, sets of high-fidelity wireframes, a revised brand guide and site architecture, and a fully functional, sustainable website that is both ADA-compliant and SEO-enhanced were delivered to the client. I also created a how-to guide that serves as website documentation for future developers.

Outcome

As the PM, in the planning stage of the project, I came up with several success metrics for evaluation. The client-specific metrics include satisfaction rate, the number of updates made post-handoff, and the number of technical challenges faced. Over the past year since project completion, website analytics show that the client has been actively updating the site (one to three times a month) and has seen 3 times the number of clients. Additionally, within one month of launch, the site traffic was increased by 116%, and the retention rate was boosted by 20%.
