Traveling with friends and loved ones can be fun, relaxing, and adventurous. Regardless of what kind of trip it is, there's the common goal of having an enjoyable trip. With secondary research, I found that trip planning phase is often the first point of conflict because planners typically struggle to stay motivated throughout the travel process due to the lack of communication regarding their personal preferences and boundaries. More in-depth contextual inquiries also showed that there are 3 key patterns in the planning phase: indecisiveness, pressure to agree, and compromisations.
