Nonprofit Website Design & Mission-Led Page Layout

A nonprofit website with a clear story from top to bottom

This project brings a children-focused nonprofit’s mission, programmes, impact stories and updates into one connected page. The design has to make a lot of information easy to scan without losing the people behind the work.

The design challenge

A visitor may arrive looking for background on the organisation, a specific area of work or a recent story. The page needs a clear hierarchy so those paths do not compete for attention. The layout uses a strong opening image, a concise mission section and grouped content cards to create that hierarchy.

The visual approach

The red, black and warm neutral palette gives the page a consistent identity. Large headings introduce each section, while photography and short cards break up the longer story. Red buttons remain easy to pick out against the quieter backgrounds.

The page moves from an opening message to the organisation’s mission, areas of work, impact stories and recent updates. The final section returns to a clear next step instead of leaving visitors at a long list of links.

What the images show

The first image presents the design as a three-panel mockup. The second preserves the full-page view so the content order can be seen without perspective. Both are the original portfolio images; no extra headlines or invented screens have been added.

This case presents the website’s visual design and information structure. Figures shown within the organisation’s page are its own content, not results attributed to my website work. I’m not claiming donation growth, campaign results or conversion improvements from these images.
