About Vuk Swim

VUK Swim is an ethically made swimsuit brand which is handmade in Toronto Canada. Their mission is to lower the consumption of clothing by creating high-quality and versatile swimsuit pieces.
Their main goal with their social media was to showcase how versatile their swimsuits were. They are not only reserved for swimming but can be worn as cute clothing pieces.

What I did

Monthly content calendar

Instead of fully managing their social media, we created a monthly content calendar with graphics, captions and reels which were uploaded to their personal Google Drive folder. All they had to do was post and do their own community management. This helped in creating consistency with their posting schedule.

UGC content creation

A big problem VUK Swim encountered was the lack of UGC content. They wanted to showcase the versatility of their swimsuits.
We ended up creating UGC to showcase how to wear the swimsuits in different ways. This led in an increase of sales.
I created a comprehensive shotlist for content days. The content was shot and edited by me.

Creative direction

For the launch of their SS22 collection, we did the creative direction for their photoshoot. We organized everything from start to finish. From the mood board to the shotlist and call sheet. The new professional pictures elevated their website and secured them a few website features.
I designed a creative direction deck outlining the moodboard, looks, locations and a shotlist to have everyone aligned before the shoot.

Our results

These results were achieved during the month of their launch. We implemented a launch plan which focused on organic social media. This social media strategy increased their sales tremendously, which resulted in their swimsuits being back-ordered and having to outsource part of the production.
