Professional Pyramid is a career-consultancy firm offering a multitude of services to its clients such as entry-level professionals and top-level executives. Some of its services include CV Rebranding, LinkedIn Optimization, Job Search Consultation, etc.

After the massive success of version 1 (1st iteration of the website), that raked in 10,000+ unique visitors per month, the plan was to serve exactly what the visitors were looking for in the next iteration, version 2 (V2).

As per our observations of V1, massive website traffic routed towards the Jobs page. Considering this, V2 has been revamped from the ground up and has a larger focus on facilitating website visitors and users with searching for jobs conveniently, effectively, and at light-speed!⚡

Catering to jobseekers is just half the battle. We also had to introduce features that would enable employers in finding talent (jobseekers) on the website.

Unquestionably, the core technologies of the website were:

But, we went ahead with a more robust and non-traditional route by incorporating Strapi CMS (Content Management System) as a backend server. It is a popular open-source headless CMS, designed for easy content management and customization. It automatically generates robust REST APIs for each content type, offering features like filtering, sorting, and role-based access control. This made it a great choice based on what we were aiming for.

Third-party services have definitely enabled us to provide more value to the users. These include:

Active Campaign: Helps with automating campaigns, managing contacts, creating personalized customer journeys, and is widely used for nurturing leads and improving engagement.

Stripe: Allows the company to accept payments, manage subscriptions, and handle single-purchase and subscription-based transactions.

Resend: A super-handy email API platform that facilitates the delivery of transactional and marketing emails. It is widely used throughout the website, especially when it is required to send key emails to the users.

Vercel: A cloud platform providing easy deployment and hosting for modern web apps and static sites. This service has enabled the website to remain live 24/7; a service we are very confident of having used.

Railway: A cloud platform that simplifies deploying, managing, and scaling applications and databases; Railway was used for version 1 of the website and caused us no issues. It goes without saying, we've availed of their services for version 2 as well and so far, it has NOT disappointed!

Microsoft Clarity: A user behavior analytics tool that provides insights to help optimize website performance. This allows us to get a better insight into the user behaviour, enabling us to add features/improvements for a better user experience.

Not only has this platform contributed immensely to the company but, it has by far been the very best work I have put forward. The unique user visits have tripled (and growing) in comparison to V1, user engagements have sky-rocketed.

In the words of the Founder of the company, in thanks to the website, business has boomed so greatly that he has had several WhatsApp messages left unread during the day (approx. 700+) because of the massive influx of user inquiries. Best part is, I haven't even stated the number of unread emails. We'll leave that for some other time. 😉
