Professional Pyramid is a career-consultancy firm offering a multitude of services to its clients such as entry-level professionals and top-level executives. Some of its services include CV Rebranding, LinkedIn Optimization, Job Search Consultation, etc.

The client required a new website to be planned, designed, and developed from the ground up based on their former website. The desired objective is to cater to all levels of professionals while facilitating good user experience and navigation on the website.

Prior to beginning the project, I initiated a thorough research of local and international competitors based in the U.S.A., U.K., and the U.A.E., that provide similar services as Professional Pyramid. A list of these companies and their websites was created and shared with the client so that he could participate and have a say in those companies he drew inspiration from.

The website was developed with modern technologies such as ReactJS/NextJS/Tailwind/Shadcn UI on the frontend which is combined with Contentful, a headless Content Management System (CMS). The CMS was introduced since the client shared their need for creating insights/blog articles pertaining to their field of specialty. This serves very well since it will be useful for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Google search rankings.

On the backend, we have gone ahead with Node.js/Express.js/Prisma ORM to set up the server and have added NeonDB to the mix, a fully managed serverless PostgreSQL compatible database. This backend stack is instrumental since it powers the main website and the custom admin dashboard.

The website has also been integrated with beneficial features such as a contact form, and Google Analytics.

Finally, the website was deployed to Vercel, a cloud hosting platform whereas the server was deployed to Railway, a reputed cloud-based platform having solid backing by investors such as Guillermo Rauch, the founder of Vercel.

After presenting the final draft for review, the client was very pleased with the results as the website turned out to be better than what was expected.

The client was ecstatic and very eager to make the website go live as he wanted to proudly present the all-new website to his clients and family members too. And so, the website was deployed!
