Tabby is a fintech company that offers consumers the option to make flexible payments for their online and offline purchases either in a single payment at a later date or in multiple installments.

This portfolio piece was created as a challenge to one of the front-end engineers working at Tabby. It was developed to demonstrate how I, too, can develop a website that looks very similar to the official Tabby website.

In short, this project is a proof of concept and can be called a Tabby website 'doppelganger'.

The client-side or frontend is developed using the JavaScript language and Next.js, the React-based front-end web development framework. Also, Tailwind CSS has been used to style the website.

The website has been optimized for performance and is desktop and mobile responsive.

Finally, the website was deployed onto the Vercel cloud platform.

The concept based website was as good as the real thing. So good that I was approached by the Legal team over at Tabby and was requested to take the website down with immediate effect.

However, as a consolation, I have the email from the Legal team and consider it an amazing feat! A major win for sure! 😆
