Genesis Motor LLC, commonly referred to as Genesis, is the luxury vehicle division of the South Korean vehicle manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company.

This portfolio piece was created with the intention of demonstrating my front-end skills acquired throughout the years.

With an admiration for the Genesis brand and with the skills I possess, there was no doubt in my mind that I would create a project based on the brand's very own website.

Prior to beginning the project, I began a thorough research into the existing Genesis U.S.A. and Genesis U.A.E. websites. I had invested quite some time into inspecting and finding the various digital assets (Fonts, Images, Colors, etc) that were being used on both the websites.

At the same time, I began selecting sections and components of the two websites that I had deemed a good fit for my project. Also, I had created a sitemap so as to not lose direction and remain focused on the webpages that required development.

The client-side was developed using the JavaScript language and Next.js, the React-based front-end web development framework.

The website has been optimized for performance and is desktop and mobile responsive.

Finally, the website was deployed to the Vercel cloud platform.

As far as concept-based projects go, I hold this one in high regard. Not only did I invest several hours into researching and developing this website, but it also served as a project that a client in the United States was very impressed by.

The client had me on call within a few hours of viewing the project and added me to the team within the next 24 hours. I wouldn’t blame him, because this kind of work, in my opinion, is something I’d categorize as "5-star". ✨
