Background
Pró-Saber SP Institute is a non-profit civil society organization located in the Paraisópolis community in São Paulo, Brazil, since 2003. Their mission is to strengthen Brazilian children’s integral education through experiences in reading and playing, transforming families and their communities. We have chosen to use Figma as our design tool due to its collaborative features and ease of use.
Design Process
Research: We began by researching our target audience and gathering inspiration from other websites in our industry. This helped us understand what features and design elements are important to our customers.
Wireframing: We then created wireframes to outline the basic layout and structure of the website. This allowed us to quickly iterate through different design concepts and get feedback from stakeholders.
Prototyping: Once we had a solid wireframe, we moved on to creating interactive prototypes in Figma. This allowed us to test the user experience and make adjustments before moving on to the final design.
Visual Design: With the wireframe and prototype finalized, we began adding visual design elements to the website. This included choosing a color scheme, typography, and creating custom icons and illustrations.
Collaboration: Throughout the entire process, we utilized Figma's collaboration features to share our work with stakeholders and gather feedback. This allowed us to make sure everyone was aligned on the design direction and catch any potential issues early on.
Conclusion
Using Figma for our website redesign allowed us to streamline our design process and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. The end result was a modern and user-friendly website that accurately reflects our brand and meets the needs of our customers.
