FreeDoh Bakery Brand Identity

FreeDoh Bakery (a made up brand) needed Brand Identity and that is what I created. I got a client brief and I started getting to know the company and found out what their vision was and what they stood for. After that I did user research to figure out their target audience. I also did competitor analysis and market mapping.

Then it was time to search for inspiration. The important thing here is to have the user persona and competitor analysis in mind, but also what the clients vision is. When I had gathered some inspiration I put together 3 completely different stylescapes (that is like a moldboard but more detailed) and chose one of them to keep me on the right track moving forward with the design.

Now I had the stylescape to guide me, so I started to design the logo. Again, I searched for inspiration and started to put together many different logos. I chose 3 that I liked and then the client could choose one that they wanted me to develop.

When the logo was decided I made variations and also started to research what colors I wanted to use.

When I had decided what colors to use I started thinking about the package and product design. What elements I wanted, colors, where the logo and other details should be. The client already new what kind of packages and products they wanted, so that made it easier for me, I just needed to come up with the design.

The final product was a Brand Guideline for FreeDoh Bakery.
