Overview

Ramp is a modern finance platform built for businesses of all sizes: corporate cards, spend management, accounting automation and more. I was engaged by Framer to design and develop a custom website for Ramp, crafted to showcase their full product ecosystem with clarity, elegance and performance.
The goal was to deliver a website that reflects Ramp’s bold, forward-looking brand while offering a seamless digital experience — from storytelling to conversion — via the Framer environment.

Challenge

Framer’s brief was to build a site for Ramp that could express their complex offering (cards, accounting, expense management, procurement, treasury) in a simple, engaging way. The challenge included:
Communicating multiple product capabilities without overwhelming visitors.
Preserving Ramp’s strong brand identity (typography, colours, tone) while employing novel layout- and motion-design.
Ensuring the site is resilient, responsive and performant across devices and markets.
Leveraging Framer’s interactive strengths while building a site easily maintainable by the Ramp team in future.

Process

1. Discovery & Alignment
I began by reviewing Ramp’s existing site, brand kit and user data to identify core content pillars and user journeys. Working with Framer’s team, we defined target audiences (startups, mid-market, enterprise), primary conversion paths and the storytelling structure.
2. UX & Structure
Next I mapped the information architecture, created wireframes and designed flows to highlight key messages: “time is money. Save both.” (as their heading) and the stats and features that support it. I designed page templates and modular content blocks to allow flexibility for future updates.
3. UI Design in Figma
Using Ramp’s established brand assets, I built a modern UI system that included: clean typography, bold headings, hero sections, product section visuals, data-driven highlights, and subtle animations. I defined reusable components and modules with scalability in mind.
4. Development in Framer
Then I implemented the design in Framer. Key tasks included:
Building responsive layouts for multiple breakpoints.
Integrating interactive/animated elements (scroll transitions, hover states, counters).
Establishing a components library so Ramp’s marketing/UX team could reuse sections easily.
Ensuring SEO, performance and accessibility best practices.
5. QA & Handoff
Before launch, I conducted cross-browser/device testing, optimised image/media assets, and provided documentation to Framer and Ramp for content edits and future maintenance. I also collaborated with Framer’s team to ensure the site launch process was smooth.

Results

The outcome is a high-quality Framer-built website that authentically reflects Ramp’s identity, communicates their value propositions clearly, and supports future growth. The site positions Ramp as a modern finance platform with clarity and visual flair, while illustrating how Framer can power enterprise-level websites.
