About the Project:

The project was to edit and proofread 3 digital magazine articles per week for monthly publication. The goal was to publish high-quality writing consistent with the magazine’s style while engaging a cult following and bringing in new, diverse readers.

Deliverables:

1. Edit 3 articles per week providing corrections on tone, style, grammar, format, word choice, sentence construction, and overall revision feedback.
2. Communicated edits to authors and collaborated on revisions.
3. Proofread 5 articles per week for web publication, correcting misspellings, typos, formatting errors, and grammar.

Results:

The website increased its publications from 3 pieces per month to 9 per month, publishing high-quality writing with few errors and increasing the scope of the audience via publishing more diverse writers.
