Bower Events β€” A Wedding Planning Studio for the Wildly Smitten.

Client: Sasha Stone, Co-Founder of Bower Events Location: Georgia, USA Services: Web Design, CMS Development, Brand Application Platform: Wix Studio Timeline: 1 month.

The Brief

Every great wedding begins with a feeling. Bower was built on exactly that belief. Led by Erica Thomas and Sasha Stone, Bower is a wedding planning and design studio rooted in a deep love for the kind of celebrations that linger long after the last dance.
I worked with Sasha Stone, who needed a website that felt like Bower itself. Editorial, airy, and effortless. A digital home that would introduce the studio to couples who were drawn to beauty and intention, giving them a reason to begin their journey there.
The project consisted of a seven page website with CMS integrations for their growing portfolio and a holding page for their upcoming rental collection. Priorities included clean navigation and generous white space that echoed a presence that felt considered to viewers.
What struck me immediately about Bower was the quality of their thinking. The copy they brought to the project was already beautiful. Phrases like "for the wildly smitten" told me exactly who these women were and who they were building for.
My job was to give those words a home worthy of them.

The Approach

I started searching for reference sites that captured the editorial wedding aesthetic Bower was reaching for. My aim was to explore websites that felt deeply human.
This helped to identify the visual language Bower needed. Typography that felt editorial. Intentional whitespace that allowed the navigation to feel like a waltz.
To make sure I met the 1 month timeline, I built the site in three phases.
Phase one was structure. I mapped every content placement against the agreed scope. Home, Our World, What We Do, The Portfolio, Notes, Begin Here, Bower Collection, and a coming soon page. Each one built with the client's copy as the anchor and the editorial aesthetic as the guide.
Phase two was the design system. This is where Bower came to life.
I chose Merchant Light as the primary typeface because it's elegant and slightly imperfect in a good way. The color palette leaned into warm neutrals with a deep sage green for CTAs and a final lavender accent that gave the typography a soft intentional pop of color. Opting for a textured paper background instead of a white ivory added tactile warmth without becoming too decorative.
The portfolio and rental inventory were both built as CMS collections inside Wix Studio, giving the Bower team full control to manage content independently after handoff.
The Bower Collection page launched as a holding page with a single evocative line setting the stage for what was coming.
Phase three was quality assurance. Speaking of intentionality, I did about 3 passovers of QA to make sure things worked as intended. This included links, responsiveness, and making sure typography scaled correctly at every breakpoint, and images loaded cleanly and were cropped neatly on smaller screens.
Our World Page
The outcome: The website was delivered complete and fully tested ten days ahead of the May 30th deadline. Sasha's response on final delivery said everything.
The timing aligned perfectly with Bower's social media announcement, giving the studio a polished digital presence to point their growing audience toward at exactly the right moment.
New followers arriving from Instagram found a website that felt warm, effortless, and entirely Bower.
The handoff included a full Wix Studio ownership transfer, a walkthrough video covering every section of the site, and CMS documentation for technical support.
The Bower team didn't just receive a website but also the knowledge and confidence to own it completely.
