By focusing on targeted hashtags across Instagram and TikTok, we aimed to drive more visibility to her page, helping the LinkedIn algorithm push her content to the explore page and reach the right audience. The strategy involved liking, commenting, and interacting with key posts in her niche to build genuine connections and increase overall engagement, ensuring her content reached a broader and more relevant audience.
Inactive Followers
Inactive followers—those who never engage with your content—are detrimental to your brand's visibility because Instagram’s algorithm perceives your content as less engaging. For instance, if you have 1,000 followers and only 10 engage, your engagement rate is just 1%, which tells the algorithm your content isn't performing well. By identifying and targeting active followers, you can increase your engagement rate and get Instagram to push your content to a wider audience. To address this, I scraped Ruth’s follower list to analyze and pinpoint inactive followers, paving the way for a more targeted growth strategy.
Video Content Strategy
I collaborated with her to craft engaging video scripts that aligned with her brand voice and messaging. These scripts were used for videos shared across LinkedIn and other platforms, highlighting her expertise in entrepreneurship and business ownership. By focusing on key topics like franchise success and business growth, we enhanced her video content's relevance and engagement. Additionally, I supported her content with complementary visuals and banners that helped reinforce her messaging across social media.
Personality
We worked on embedding her fun and personable side into her content, like this post, where she shares both inspiration and a glimpse of her daily life. By incorporating relatable and authentic moments, we strengthened her personal brand, making her more approachable and likable to her audience. This approach helped Ruth stand out not just as a business leader but as someone people can connect with on a personal level.
