Colture is a branding agency with a team of storytellers that has worked with some of the biggest names in the African entertainment and tech ecosystem.



I worked with the Team at Colture as the lead developer on contract. Solely spearheading the development and launch process of their official website. Colture is a branding agency with a team of storytellers that has worked with some of the biggest names in the African entertainment and tech ecosystem. I worked closely with the CTO and CEO to understand the mission and accurately bring their ideas to life. I also created and modified templates on WordPress using PHP.



Additionally, I was responsible for the website's configuration using Cpanel and spearheading and managing the agency's entire IT team. I also maintained the website for months after.



Tech stack: PHP, WordPress. Process: Design: I worked closely with the CTO to understand the team's needs and how to properly fine-tune their requirements and showcase their works. We iterated through a lot of ideas.



Development: I changed the website's configuration to fix an existing bug that prevented the website from even deploying at all in the first place. I then proceeded to set up and create custom templates on the site. I also installed and configured multiple plugins to add extra functionality like Yoast for SEO etc...



Delivery: This was a continuous process as I was still responsible for maintaining the website for months after. But Colture went on to gain more clients because they had a website that reflected the work they've done and I went on to work with them on more projects afterwards. I also got a couple of referrals from them.
