The client reached out to me with a simple goal. I want a website for independent African creatives. My case studies for this were mostly Amazon handmade and Etsy. I designed and architected it and I'm currently building the web app. I'm working with a team of three to deliver the MVP.
Tech stack:
Design: Figma
Languages: JavaScript
Frontend: React.js, CSS Modules.
Backend: Firebase.
Delivery: Hosted on netlify. Work in progress.
Process:
Design: Mockups created with Figma. The goal was to reflect creativity and artistry as much as possible.
The design was approved by the client with the comment "You captured exactly what we wanted."
Development: we're currently building out the web app. I'm working with a team of three for this. Leading the process while working on the more technical side stuff to make things faster.
Delivery: I reach out to the client at the end of every week detailing our progress.
