Delivered the full visual identity for SUCHI’s India tour. The branding was rolled out across social media, event posters, and merch to drive strong engagement.
SUCHI, a globally-influenced DJ (Oslo-London-Delhi-NYC), returned to India for the third time with her eclectic blend of house, techno, electro, and acid. The tour was organized by District India.
I designed the visual identity and all promotional materials. This included social media creatives, print posters, and merchandise - to reflect her dynamic, cross-cultural energy.
The Process
SUCHI wanted a very bold, graphic style combining rough textures and high contrast with minimal colors. The goal was to create a gritty, industrial feel. To achieve this I made a distorted portrait and rhythmic line patterns to evoke motion, noise, and feelings of underground electronic culture - blending techno aesthetics with a raw, poster-print edge.
I started off with a minimal, vectorized version of her portrait.
I further distorted the minimal illustration and added texture and pattern.
The font was the final piece to tie everything together. I chose this really distorted font and tweaked it enough to match the rest of the visual language.
The result was a very raw and gritty visual language reminiscent of underground club sound that used screen-printed or DIY rave flyers with strong contrast, visible texture, and an intentionally raw finish.
Merch
I also extended the visuals and turned them into merch that was sold at the different venues.
