This project shows my work in the best light possible. Taking advantage of my extensive background in both live events and fabrication management this bar pushed the bounds of my talents. I hope to never have so many responsibilities in a project again but the owners fully trusted my abilities and that speaks volumes. I was responsible for the following project elements:

Architectural design, remodeling, and permit sheeting

Permitting

Managing General Contractor

Later firing and becoming the general contractor

Design of the lighting, sound, and event production environment

3D modeling and construction drawings of all custom-fabricated elements

No Vacancy Lounge, the contemporary Art Deco-inspired bar crafted by Jessey Zepeda and Billy Vinton, exudes an alluring, timeless ambiance perfect for socializing and hosting immersive entertainment experiences.

This multifaceted venue doubles as a full-service event space boasting an impressive 57-foot theatrical lighting grid, evenly supported by a whopping 280 amps of power. With 10,000 individually addressable LED lights and dozens of moving lights, the Lounge is a visual spectacle that will leave you breathless.

The auditory journey is no less impressive. The house sound system features the legendary EAW AVALON DC2 sound system, amplified by an awe-inspiring 300 amps of Crown amplifiers. You’ll feel the music coursing through your veins and the bass elevating your soul.

The design is meticulously curated, using state-of-the-art fabrication techniques and materials that embody the Art Deco ethos. The room is an evocative throwback to a bygone era, boasting intricate woven wire patterns, laser-cut motifs, transparent powder coats, and unparalleled attention to detail that sets it apart from other clubs.

The designers’ attention to detail was so exacting that they recreated light sconces from the 1930s, which were no longer available. The result is a breathtaking masterpiece that defies time and embodies the essence of Gatsbyesque extravagance. No Vacancy Lounge is a one-of-a-kind experience.
