I am well-versed in event planning and coordination. As a social media manager, I strongly believe that IRL events can be one of the most beneficial activations for social engagement. I specialize in curating events that are picture-perfect in a way that makes guests want to show others what they are missing out on.
ThriftCon
For the last two years, I played a large role in coordinating 15 ThriftCon events for over 100,000 guests. Leading up to each event, I sourced unique vendors & sponsorships, managed promotion across all social media platforms, handled budgets, and oversaw set-up. At the events, I managed production of all photography and videography on the show floor. Afterwards, I was in charge of pushing out content on socials to drive ticket sales for future events.
In addition to the main convention, I handled the coordination of the ThriftCon pre-parties. These events were more intimate gatherings for attendees and vendors in each city to connect with other vintage enthusiasts in their communities. Preparation for these events included securing venues, acquiring sponsors, musical performances, promotion, ticket sales, and activities throughout the night.
HERE Studio
Working for a brand new Brooklyn-based photography studio, I was in charge of planning two events that would increase awareness for the studio. For the first event, the Grand Opening Party, I handled promotion on social, acquiring sponsors, hiring a DJ, and budgeting. We were able to sell over 250 tickets and gained more than 100 followers through social mentions. The second event, Social Club, was an intimate, invite-only, influencer dinner. I was in charge of sourcing the guest list through social media, hiring photographers, and used my own style to curate the decor and vibe for the studio.
