Brand design for a coffee shop

Marketing by Carlos

Can a cup of coffee tell a story?

In this branding project for Luna Coffee, I combined my love for design and specialty coffee to create a warm, nostalgic identity full of personality. Finding the balance between retro and contemporary was a real challenge, but that made the process even more rewarding. This project is a key part of my portfolio, showing how I turn creative challenges into meaningful, character-driven brand experiences.

Reflection & Outcome

This project was both a personal exploration and a creative challenge. Designing Luna Coffee allowed me to translate emotion, ritual, and personality into a visual identity that feels alive and inviting.
The most rewarding part was finding the sweet spot between nostalgic charm and contemporary relevance—using design to evoke feelings of comfort, warmth, and community.
Through this process, I strengthened my ability to build brand systems from concept to execution, combining strategy, illustration, and storytelling into a cohesive and memorable identity.
Luna Coffee is now one of the most meaningful pieces in my portfolio—not only for its visual outcome, but for what it taught me about how design can connect people to experiences.
