Fieldshare is a tool where users from certain industries can monitor the status of their companies' assets, place it on maps, create own data tables and make reports.

Oil & gas, municipalities and environmental companies are having a hard time to find all-in-one solution to manage messy data.

Specific industries require more complex and custom functionality that doesn't regularly available on the market.

Improve existing Fieldshare 1.0 version to address the clients needs for custom feature sets to manage projects & reorganize existing flows.

Design process

The design process of the entire project was divided into several stages: discovery, mapping, prototyping, UI kit and visualization (+ testing & iterating).

Results

1. Onboarding sessions time decreased by 30%, by reducing the need for additional session to explain features.

2. Multiple features usage rate increased by up to 15% due the restructuring hierarchy and highlighting most important actions based on user’s task.

3. Decrease in average time on task by roughly 15% achieved by defining users’ existing issues and analyzing users’ feedback on proposed solutions.

4. 85% of the scenarios were redesigned during the mapping stage.

5. 100+ iterations were suggested based on users' feedback during testing & iterating.
