The original experience was created in Framer, but the goal was to turn it into a maintainable production website without losing the visual character of the original design.

I reconstructed the interface as a proper React 19 + Vite application, moved the visual assets into the project, removed the runtime dependency on Framer and reorganized the site into reusable components and structured content.

The site includes dedicated experiences for the company story, cruise fleet, individual ships, tours, hotels, restaurants and enquiries, with both English and Russian content.

I chose this stack because the project needed more flexibility than a visual website builder could comfortably provide, while still remaining lightweight. Vite keeps the frontend simple and fast, React Router handles the growing set of travel and fleet pages, and Framer Motion preserves the more cinematic transitions and interaction style appropriate for a premium travel brand.

I also reworked the frontend for production: route-level code splitting, locally hosted assets, responsive image optimization, accessibility improvements, bilingual content architecture, per-page SEO metadata, sitemap and structured data.

The interesting part of the project was not simply reproducing a Framer design in code. It was turning a visually driven marketing website into a system that could actually be maintained, extended and deployed without being tied to the original design tool.
