Letterstep — One letter, one clear next step (https://letterstep.base44.app) A confusing letter can turn an everyday task into something overwhelming — especially when it concerns your child, your benefits, or your health coverage. I built Letterstep to help people understand what a letter says, what it asks them to do, and where to start. Paste a letter or import a .txt file, then ask questions in a conversational interface. Letterstep provides a plain-language explanation, separates deadlines from other dates, and connects suggested actions to the original wording. You can select the preparation tasks you want to keep and download or print them with supporting quotations. FamilyCase brings related letters together, with fictional examples covering school meetings, Virginia SNAP preparation, and medical coverage. The goal is to help families prepare for a conversation — without making eligibility decisions or pretending to replace professional advice. The walkthrough also previews a navigator handoff inside the same chat. Users review the context before continuing. This call is clearly labelled as a simulation; no live operator is contacted. I designed the experience locally, then implemented and refined it with Codex and Base44. I tested the journey in Chrome, including mobile layouts, real text-file imports, live AI responses, source references, and selected-task exports. My focus was making a stressful moment feel manageable: a calm interface, the original letter always within reach, and one clear next step. https://letterstep.base44.app

I just open-sourced my Contra MCP Starter Toolkit ⚡ Contra now has a native Model Context Protocol server, which means MCP-compatible AI agents can work directly with your Contra account — profile, services, portfolio, proposals, projects, invoices and more. The problem: getting a coding agent properly connected still involves OAuth, PKCE, token refresh, MCP configuration and making sure the agent respects Contra’s prepare → confirm workflow. So I packaged the setup I was using into an open-source starter kit: 👉 GitHub: https://github.com/alexandernevsky/contra-mcp-starter What’s inside: • One-command OAuth setup — run npm run auth, authorize Contra in the browser, and the local callback handles PKCE and token exchange. • Zero dependencies — native Node.js 18+ only: fetch, crypto, http and fs. • Automatic token refresh — the client catches expired sessions, refreshes the access token and retries the MCP request. • Safe agent workflows — instructions for Cursor, Google Antigravity, Claude Code and Windsurf built around Contra’s native prepare → confirm protocol, including a full before/after review before any live mutation. • Zero-code AI mode — copy-paste prompts for inspecting your Contra account, restructuring services, updating your profile and publishing portfolio case studies without writing JavaScript yourself. • Content-as-Code templates — Markdown blueprints for profile positioning, flagship services, pricing, FAQs and structured case studies. The interesting part for me isn’t just Contra. It’s the workflow: your professional profile becomes something an AI coding agent can inspect, reason about and maintain through structured tools — while you keep final approval over every write. nevskii.me (http://nevskii.me) — Personal Portfolio & Product Builder Website A personal portfolio and commercial website designed and built in Framer to present my work across product design, AI-assisted development and digital product building. nevskii.me (http://nevskii.me) is my personal portfolio and commercial website, designed and built entirely in Framer. I created the site as a central place to present my work as an AI Product Designer & Builder — combining product design, digital products, AI-assisted development and experimentation within one clear visual system. The main challenge was to avoid creating another traditional designer portfolio made up of disconnected case studies. Instead, I wanted the website to reflect how I actually work today: moving between product strategy, UX/UI, prototyping, development, AI tools and shipped products. I handled the complete process myself — information architecture, visual direction, interface design, responsive layouts, interaction design and implementation in Framer. The site is designed as a living portfolio rather than a static presentation. It gives me a flexible system for publishing new projects, experiments and commercial work as my practice continues to evolve. Visually, I kept the direction minimal and editorial, with strong typography, restrained UI and a clear hierarchy that lets the work remain the main focus. The result is both my portfolio and a product in itself — a continuously evolving representation of how I design, build and ship digital products.
