So, you want to be a singer. Congratulations! This is a huge and exciting life decision. But keep in mind that having a singing voice can be a blessing and a curse. Singing is a joyous and fulfilling activity that will be with you for the rest of your life, but it’s also an art form that takes a lot of physical, mental, and emotional work. Natural talent (the phenomenon that makes your voice beautiful, pleasing, or musical) is great, but it’s simply not enough to build a career on. The process of becoming someone who is employed as a singer is a long and difficult one. Are you up for the challenge?
