Wonder, a school that believes every child has the ability to change the world, hosted its first Children's Business Fair in 2019. Taking a break in 2020 because of COVID-19, they hosted another in 2021. Along with two event coordinators, Leah was the driving force for marketing and community communication.

The Spark ✨

Wonder needed to get the word out for the business fair...and FAST. They only had five months from the event date of release to the event day to find young entrepreneurs to sign up and let the community know how amazing it would be.

The Outcome

150 6-12 year-old entrepreneurs created their own businesses and sold their products at the Wichita Children's Business Fair on October 2nd, 2021.
Over 2,000 friends, families, and customers came to the fair to support these local businesses, even though it was a rainy day and the time of the fair had to move last minute due to the weather.
