What they came with

No logo, no color system, no visual language, and a real tension: stand out in a crowded, AI-saturated EdTech market without reading as cold to the teachers who'd actually use it.

How I built it

A mascot-led identity, not a purely typographic mark. "Go" became a friendly, glasses-wearing character, a face being the shortest route to warmth in a category that mostly signals intelligence. Color, type and clear-space rules were all built to keep that mark legible at every size, then the same system extended directly into a full UI/UX design system, so brand and product could never read as two different companies.

Brand identity & logo system:

the mascot, a primary lockup with the tagline "Teaching Meets Innovation," a symbol-only mark, clear-space rules for every variation.

Color & typography:

three primary tones (Deep Blue, Vibrant Purple, Dark Gray) plus accents held back for energy, not core surfaces. Quadaptor-Regular for the logo, Oxanium for everything else.

The mascot cast:

nine poses, so the brand can answer what a screen is saying, not just appear on it.

Brand collateral:

splash screens, letterhead, envelope design, proof the system works beyond a logo on a white background.

Design system for the product:

full component library, a two-style icon font (rounded and square), a shadow system, a type scale from Display 10 to Display 1.

Interface palette:

an extended digital set (Purple Magic, Purple Blue, Cyan/Teal, Blue) on top of the brand palette, for state without leaving the brand's own color language.

Product UI/UX:

landing page, teacher/student registration toggle, and the Practice Tools dashboard, filtered by subject and grade across STAAR Math, Reading, Social Studies and Bluebonnet Math.

Where it landed

Shipped as one system, not a logo in isolation. The interface palette extends the brand palette, the component library uses the brand type scale, the mascot appears in the product, not only in the marketing. That's the difference between a brand a product carries and one it's painted in.

Built a mascot-led brand from zero, then extended it into a full UI/UX system and the live product itself. One language, brand to screen.
